Guest blogging earns Gold for best article in CRM Writers' Awards 2017

I love creating content on current CRM topics like user adoption, sales enablement and training for SalesMethods. So I was even more delighted for my client when I learnt that my guest blogging had won the Gold and Silver awards in two categories of the CRM Writers' Awards 2017.

Here's a copy of the related press release (April 2017) from Discover CRM:

Winner of Gold award in the Best Article category

VANESSA HUNT ANNOUNCED WINNER AT THE CRM WRITERS' AWARDS

Vanessa Hunt has won several awards in the CRM Writers' Awards 2017 including the Gold Award in the Best Article category for her piece Informed buyers are forcing Sales and Marketing to finally unitepublished on SalesMethods. She has also been awarded the Silver Award for Best Writer.

Best Article by SalesMethods's guest blogger

Vanessa worked as an independent CRM Consultant from 2006, before establishing Vanessa Hunt Consulting Ltd in January 2010. She's held training and management positions in software organisations and consultancies such as Maximizer Software Ltd, McAfee, Detica and CSC Computer Sciences. With 16 years' experience in training, marketing and CRM, she's very much at home in today's growing market of Social CRM. Vanessa has worked on many CRM training projects, delivering training across Europe in multiple languages.

The awards recognise top writing talent across the CRM industry from all types of publication, with categories for both vendor and independent blogs, and for individual writers.

The final results were decided by a combination of recommendations from the judges and a public vote. Vanessa Hunt scored well in the public vote and was praised by the judges for her engaging writing style.

Awards judge and Discover CRM Editor Kathryn Beeson said:

Vanessa’s article stood out to me because it was particularly well written and informative. I was impressed by the way she draws on her experience of delivering sales training programmes to discuss a current industry topic. Overall, the judges felt she was a very deserving winner for her writing across the board.

We were very impressed with the quality of work submitted for this year's awards. Our judging panel had their work cut out deciding on the winners, which underlines Vanessa’s achievement.

ABOUT THE AWARDS

The CRM Writers' Awards were launched in 2017 by Discover CRM to recognise top writing talent across the CRM industry. Run every year, they recognise the brightest, most switched on bloggers, writers and journalists working in the CRM industry, with prizes available in Best Vendor Blog, Best Independent blog, Best Writer and Best Article categories.
